My daily mindful postcard:
This image was taken as I walked along the river path, listening to the pitter-patter of raindrops all about me, drumming every leaf.
I try to clear my thoughts and be fully present in the moment. The fresh, earthy scents percolate my awareness.
My gaze falls upon a single broom flower as it patiently waits for a bee to find it. There are no bees about today. And somehow, in the rain, this fragile, fleeting form seems so poignant.
